The FeedMore WNY Foundation held their highly successful Rock Out Hunger food drive for a 16th year, concluding on November 9th.
Conversion Monster donated 52 turkeys to support the cause, which has raised over $316,000, 300,000 pounds of food since 2006 to support Western New York neighbors in need. Rock Out Hunger is made possible through the sponsorship of 97 Rock, Kaleida Health and WKBW-TV.
Proceeds from this event go directly to:
- Serve more than 180,000 of our neighbors through home delivered meals, congregate dining sites and network of more than 300 partner agencies such as food pantries, soup kitchens and emergency shelters.
- Deliver fresh fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy items directly to those in need through their Mobil Food Pantry program.
- Assist more than 50,000 children through their Baby Needs, BackPack and School Pantry programs.
- In 2020, FeedMore WNY provided more than 16 million meals to our neighbors in need.
